§ 18-275. Vehicular surface requirements.

(a)

Materials. All vehicular surfaces shall be surfaced with either seal coat, bituminous concrete surface course, or Portland cement concrete, as those materials are described in the most recent edition of the Illinois Department of Transportation's Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction.

(b)

Grading; shaping; drainage. In addition, the vehicular surface shall be treated to provide a durable and dustless surface. The surface shall be shaped and graded to properly drain, retain and dispose of all surface water. The surfaces shall provide effective drainage without allowing water to cross the sidewalk or public way. Drainage shall be in accordance with Chapter 26.
