§ 2-230. Award; notice to bidder; public record of bid.

After opening of the bids and recommendation by any committee appointed by the Village Board, the Village Board may award the contract or purchase order. If the Village Board elects to award the contract or purchase order, notice of the award of the contract or purchase order shall be given to the bidder. Each bid, with the name of the bidder, shall be entered on a record, and the record, with the successful bid indicated thereon, shall, after award of contract or purchase order, be open to public inspection.
