§ 38-43. Damage to property.

  • No person shall commit any of the following acts within the Village:

    (1)

    Knowingly damage any property of another without his consent;

    (2)

    Recklessly, by means of fire or explosive, damage property of another;

    (3)

    Knowingly start a fire on the land of another without his consent;

    (4)

    Knowingly injure a domestic animal of another without his consent;

    (5)

    Knowingly deposit on the land or in the building of another, without his consent, any stink bomb or any offensive smelling compound and thereby intend to interfere with the use by another of the land or building;

    (6)

    Damage any property with intent to defraud an insurer; or

    (7)

    Knowingly shoot a firearm at any portion of a railroad train.
