§ 2-228. Exceptions for emergencies.

The requirements of this Division do not apply in the case of a bona fide emergency or with respect to contracts or purchase orders not adaptable to the taking of bids. In the case of a bona fide emergency, contracts or purchase orders may be let by the Village Board to the extent necessary to resolve the emergency without advertising for bids.
