§ 46-27. Revocation.

  • (a)

    The Chief of Police shall revoke any certificate of registration issued under this Article if:

    (1)

    The holder of the certificate is convicted of violating any provisions of this Article or has made a material false statement in the application;

    (2)

    The holder engages in soliciting inconsistent with the information contained in its application; or

    (3)

    The holder of the certificate is no longer qualified to be issued a certificate of registration under the terms of this Article.

    (b)

    Immediately upon such revocation the Chief of Police shall give written notice to the holder of the certificate, in person or by certified U.S. mail addressed to his current residence address set forth in the application.

    (c)

    The certificate of registration shall become null and void immediately upon the giving of such notice.
