§ 50-83. Residential garbage collection requirements.

(a)

Alley or curbside service. A residential garbage collection licensee shall uniformly make available service for collection, removal, or disposal of residential garbage to all residents of the Village. Service shall be provided at the alley entrance (where alleys currently exist) or at the curbside (where alleys do not currently exist) of each residential unit.

(b)

Frequency of service. A residential garbage collection licensee shall provide each resident customer with one or more per week collection service. With respect to those weeks where a holiday recognized by the Federal Government occurs, the licensee shall adjust the collection schedule to prevent any resident from losing service for that week.
